Social bookmarking site Mister Wong seeks potential buyer

The social bookmarking service Mister Wong has been put up for sale by its German parent company Construktiv. In a blog post published yesterday on the German language Mister Wong blog, the current owner stated: “The changing priorities require us to seek a new operator”.

Mister Wong was founded in 2006 and could be described as the European version of Delicious. The social bookmarking site is available in German, French, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, and English, and all of these different language versions have a page rank of 7 or 8. Mister Wong has several million registered users, but the number of active users has recently not been disclosed.

EU-Startups poses the question to our readers: If you have several hundred thousand euros in your bank account, and no clue what to do with it, why don’t you just buy Mister Wong? Contact them via [email protected].
