Warsaw-based Senuto receives €1.3 million to expand SEO platform across EU

Senuto, a Polish startup providing advanced SEO, e-commerce and content marketing tools and data, has closed a round of €1.3 million. The round was led by ARIA Private Equity, alongside two business angels – Maciej Noga (a founder of Pracuj.pl) and Daniel Kaczmarek (a founder of Paraloscuriosos.com). Thanks to the funds, Senuto plans to get a foothold in new European markets and prepare for further expansion.

Senuto, founded in 2015, offers enterprises an AI-based technology to analyse SEO data related to searches made on the internet. Its solutions make it possible for clients to significantly increase organic traffic to their websites. The company also provides tools to automatically plan the content of articles using specific keywords. Currently, all major publishers in Poland and most of the leading online stores, marketplaces, price comparison websites and SEM/SEO agencies use these tools and solutions. The company collects and analyses data on 19 million phrases and 7 million domains.

“At Senuto, we focus on the accuracy of analyses and a wide range of offered functions. Clients appreciate this and their number is growing rapidly. In Poland, more than 900 companies and 14,000 users already use our solutions. In the near future, we want to focus on international expansion. We also plan to promote the use of machine learning in SEO”, said Damian Sałkowski, CEO of Senuto. “First of all, we will focus on the development in Europe. The funds from the round will make it possible for us to build a larger team, as well as further develop our technology. This year promises to be very intensive in all areas”, added Sałkowski.

The majority of the funds obtained in the completed round, 1.2 million, was received from ARIA Private Equity investment fund. Thanks to this support, Senuto wants to actively work to win clients in other European countries. The list of its strategic directions includes the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Sweden, and Norway.

“We have invested in Senuto, because the company achieves excellent results – it has grown by almost 100% over the last year. Its advantage is its unique technology. Senuto constantly monitors 19 million key phrases, and its tools help to significantly increase the effectiveness of marketing efforts on the Internet. The amount of data collected and analysed by Senuto is impressive. The company also has a strong team led by Damian Sałkowski, a recognised SEO specialist, and Krzysztof Dębowski”, said Dariusz Lewandowski, CEO of ARIA Private Equity.

For ARIA Private Equity, the investment in the development of Senuto is the beginning of the implementation of its newly defined strategy to both support technology companies and finance their buyouts.

During an earlier round of financing, Senuto received 0.4 million from bValue investment fund. The company used these funds to develop its technology and team. At the moment, it employs 23 experts specialising in SEO, big data and data mining. Thanks to this new round, the company is now valued at 7 million.
