Carlota Pi, Co-Founder of Holaluz, will speak at the EU-Startups Summit on growing a greentech startup to IPO

On the 29th-30th April 2021, we’re hosting the 7th edition of the EU-Startups Summit in Barcelona – will you join us? This 2-day event will give you the chance to meet over 1,500 participants (founders, startup enthusiasts, corporates, angel investors, VCs, and media), learn from 70+ expert speakers, take part in workshops with internationally successful founders, network (via our app!) and bite your nails through our exciting pitch competition.

Today we are excited to announce a new speaker: Carlota Pi, Co-founder and Executive President of Holaluz. At the EU-Startups Summit, she will join us on the main stage to share her insights and story: From IESE Business School to greentech IPO’.

Carlota has gone from being an EMBA student at IESE Business School, to co-founding Holaluz, which has been greening the energy sector now for nearly a decade. Aiming the turn the world’s energy 100% green, Holaluz has already been voted the most valued energy company in Spain, and aims for 400 new clients a day until reaching 1 million clients by 2023. Carlota certainly has insights to share on the challenges she has faced and lessons she has learnt along the way, including building an innovative green and cleantech company, closing seed and Series A VC funding rounds, and growing a team of 170+ people, among others.

Carlota as a Spanish female founder will share her top tips for social enterprise ‘wantrepreneurs’, founders of cleantech startups and teams wishing to make more impact, fast. Speaking on the main stage, you’ll have the chance to interact and share ideas, getting the most out of the session.

If you’d like to join us, there’s still time to secure your ticket to the EU Startups Summit 2021 in sunny Barcelona. Get inspired by our video below, or check out our information here (to be updated on a weekly basis). We look forward to seeing you there!
