See you at the EU-Startups Conference in Munich!

We’re excited to announce that on 7 November 2014, we’ll host our first ever big event – the EU-Startups Conference!

The event will take place from 2pm – 8pm at WERK1 in Munich, known as the most ‘startup friendly’ place in the city. Around 120 attendees are expected to join us for an insightful and exciting first event.

The EU-Startups Conference, which will be held in English, will be the perfect event for startups aiming to enter foreign markets and internationalise. We will have fireside chats with 2-3 internationally successful founders from the internet space, as well as a pitch competition for about 10 startup teams.

One of our ‘star guests’ will be Bernhard Niesner, the Founder and CEO of the world’s largest language learning community busuu.com. Headquartered in London, busuu aims to change the world by providing language learning around the globe for 40 million users, with 40k+ new users joining every day. Bernhard is a perfect example of the fact that globally successful internet companies can also be built out of Europe.

If you’re interested in pitching your startup idea in a 5-minute presentation in front of a group of investors, startup ecosystem stakeholders and an expert jury, please don’t hesitate to send us an email including your company information and why you’d like to pitch.

More details about the event, including speakers, will be announced on 1 June. If we’ve already grabbed your attention and you’re able to be in Munich for these dates, we highly recommend you purchase your ticket now!

The good news is that we’ve kept it affordable; the two ticket categories we’re offering (€25/€49) already include food and drinks during our networking break. Tickets can be purchased here! (Update – May 2023: The events platform seems to now be out of use, and we therefore deactivated the original link).

Speaking of events, do you have your ticket yet for the upcoming EU-Startups Summit?
