Swedish call tracking company, Freespee, secures €1.1 million to grow across Europe

Freespee, a leading European call tracking and pay-per-call solution based in Sweden, just closed its second round of financing of €1.1 million.

Freespee is located in Uppsala, and was founded in 2008 by the entrepreneurs Carl Holmquist and Tobias Lindgren. Nowadays the call tracking service from Freespee is used by classifieds, affiliate and performance marketing publishers and networks to fully monetize their content.

According to TechCrunch Europe, the invested money comes from Finland’s venture capital fund Inventure, one of the most experienced Nordic venture funds that has been investing since 2005. The fresh funds will be used by the Swedish startup to fuel its growth across Europe.
