Kiosked-logoThe in-content online sales platform Kiosked is rapidly gaining ground. The Finland-based startup has now partnered with Suomi24, Finland’s largest web community, to provide interactive online marketplaces (otherwise known as kiosks) to the community’s 2700 discussion forums and 1.3 million unique weekly visitors. Influeads-logo-newThe Danish startup InfluAds has launched a new product to help developers monetize their non-mobile apps (Update – February 2023: The website seems to be out of use, and we therefore deactivated the original link). The simply named In-App Advertising service is designed to drive premium ad revenue to desktop and web apps. The service focuses on delivering relevant, carefully placed ads within apps. xing-logoThe business network Xing has grown its revenue by about 20% to a total of €16.6 million in the 3rd quarter of 2011, compared to €13.8 million in the 3rd quarter of 2010. Xing’s CEO said: “Our current focus on the German language market pays off”. Read more about it in German on Gruenderszene.

theeuropas_logoThe Europas, the European Tech Startup Awards, will be held on November 17, in London. As of today they are poised to sell out, with just a handful of tickets left online, it unfortunately not being possible to buy tickets on the door. Over 400 people are already registered! The Europas will take place at a cool venue in the heart of London’s West End. Find out more on TechCrunch Europe.
