Looking back: The first 6 months of EU-Startups

On the 4th of October 2010 we published the first post on EU-Startups.com. The first 6 months went really fast – we had the chance to do a lot of exciting interviews with European entrepreneurs and wrote almost 160 articles.

At this moment in time, EU-Startups.com is reaching already over 2000 visits a month and the growth rate shows that there is definitely a demand for another voice in the European startup space.

These are the most active cities when it comes to our readership (sorted by the number of visits):

  1. Berlin
  2. London
  3. Paris
  4. Stuttgart
  5. Istanbul
  6. Milan
  7. Madrid
  8. New York
  9. Munich
  10. Karlsruhe

On February we integrated a Job Board into EU-Startups.com. Recently a startup that helps businesses run better marketing campaigns published a job opening there for a legal intern, and we’d like to encourage all startups to do the same. The Job Board is absolutely free until the end of 2011.

We are still looking for passionate tech and entrepreneurship writers from Spain, France, UK, Italy or The Netherlands (or another EU country) to join the team. This would enable us to cover even more startup-stories in the near future!

Speaking of HR & Job Opportunities: Make sure to check out the EU-Startups Job Board in case you’re currently hiring or looking for new job opportunities.
