Empowering Europe’s innovation ecosystem: Unveiling the EU project ‘Innovation Radar Bridge’

EU-Startups, in collaboration with Dealflow.eu and Dealroom, announces the launch of the “Innovation Radar Bridge” project, aimed at amplifying the impact of EU-funded innovation. This initiative seeks to enhance connections among Innovation Radar innovators, European investors, and policymakers to foster greater market uptake of groundbreaking innovations emerging from EU-funded research and innovation programs.

The Innovation Radar Initiative, a key initiative of the European Commission, highlights high-potential innovations and innovators within EU-funded projects and startups. Supported by the EU-funded action INVEST, the project aims to enhance ongoing efforts by providing additional impact through events, thematic reports, and increased media exposure.

The launch event, “EU Innovation Catalyst: Deeptech Investments & Policies for a Future-proof Economy,” will take place on April 16th in Brussels. Serving as a joint effort to launch two promising EU Funded projects, Innovation Radar Bridge and StepUp Startups, this event serves as a platform to ignite conversations between stakeholders in Europe’s innovation landscape.

StepUp Startups, the second project to be unveiled, is poised to positively impact Europe’s startup economy. By leveraging meticulous, data-driven insights, groundbreaking research, and impactful events, StepUp Startups aims to elevate Europe’s startup ecosystem to unprecedented heights, shedding light on the intricacies, challenges, and opportunities within Europe’s startup domain.

This event will feature high-level discussions with key actors in the European startup ecosystem, including officials and policymakers from the European Commission and European Parliament, investors, and innovators. It promises to be an unparalleled gathering of thought leaders, innovators, and decision-makers, shaping the future of EU innovation policy and driving Europe towards a prosperous future built on innovation-driven growth.

Additionally, the project is conducting a survey among EU innovators and founders to explore their experiences with EU policy, identifying challenges and areas of support. The findings will contribute to thematic reports and inform policymakers on effective strategies.

The project, a collaborative effort between EU-Startups, Dealflow.eu, and Dealroom, aims to enhance the Innovation Radar and extend its influence within the European innovation ecosystem. Leveraging their combined expertise and resources, the objective is to fortify connections among Innovation Radar innovators, European investors, and policymakers through diverse channels such as events, thematic reports, and heightened media exposure. The overarching goal is to substantially amplify engagement and collaboration within these communities, stimulating greater market and societal uptake of groundbreaking innovations emerging from EU-funded research and innovation programs.
