Danish fintech startup Dealflow announced it has secured €660k with the aim of automating B2B invoicing for online businesses and eventually become an autonomous financial assistant.
Joining the round is the co-founder of the billion-dollar company ESL Gaming, Ralf Reitchert, talent investor EWOR led by Daniel Dippold, the venture capital fund Atlantis Ventures, and a group of business angels, including the co-founder of GamerPay, Martin Lykke Suhr.
Despite the challenging conditions of the current funding market, Seb Haugeto and Siddharth Mudgal, the founders of the invoicing platform Dealflow, just raised this capital in one of the highest pre-seed valuations in the Nordics this year.
Founded in 2021, Dealflow is one of the first invoicing platforms in the world that allows online businesses to make free transfers across borders and manage cashflow with instant payouts in the same solution. The platform also integrates directly with the accounting system for reconciliation and can automate payment flows such as subscriptions.
Seb Haugeto, founder of Dealflow, said: “The goal of the new financing is to further develop Dealflow, which eventually will become the world’s first autonomous financial assistant – a ‘digital employee’ based on artificial intelligence that can assist entrepreneurs, CFOs, and companies like ScaleUp finance with any conceivable financial task from day one. This way, they can focus more on building great businesses rather than doing manual grunt work.”
Investor Daniel Dippold from EWOR, commented: “I focus on investing in founders with outlier qualities. I strongly believe that Seb and the team possess the necessary qualities to establish a disruptive, globally relevant fintech venture.”
Dealflow recently partnered with ScaleUp Finance to become their invoicing and payment provider. Alexander Wullf, founder and CEO, said about the partnership: “I saw the authenticity of Dealflow’s potential in the first meeting with Seb. Their product could be a game changer for us at full scale. It’s like headless alternative to legacy systems like Stripe, with some very interesting payment orchestration features. They’re on an exciting journey for sure.”
