We're looking for someone to join our team. And let's start off with some honesty... Although we've won a few pitch competition in the US (a total of 100,000 SEK) we're an early stage startup. If you are looking for a job that can give you a bunch of cash this fall, UniMates might not be what you're looking for. If you, however, want to be part of something (almost) from the beginning, you want to be part of a team (almost) from the start, and you have a passion for development - you're our guy/girl!! And before we get into the details, you are preferably located in Stockholm (but that's not a must).
Alright here we go:
You will work closely with our (at this time) only developer on improving the marketplace app.
INFO ABOUT YOU:
- 1-year experience in Ruby/Rails and 1-year experience with React preferably React Native
- Javascript skills
- Agile & digital health experience a big plus
- Git, JavaScript, React, OOP, RESTful and GraphQL API
You’ll be working on:
- Programming in all parts of the stack including React/Redux, ReactNative, Ruby/Rails, and PostgreSQL
- Refactoring existing code without fear, we constantly look to improve code quality
- Pair programming when it makes sense, collaboration is key
Reach out if you meet the requirements and show us what awesome apps you've made in the past! If any of them involves a mobile marketplace or some sort of e-commerce, that's a plus (but once again, not a must)!
