Recently, we have been developing a project to produce items made of ocean plastic. Our target it is to connect a chain that might produce social, environmental and economic impact. We work together with NGOs that collect waste from the oceans. We bring this material to the goods production main stream and sale the final products to our customers. This is the first initiative of its kind as far as we know.
As we had RPET in our portfolio already, our purpose it is to bring this impact further. The next step of our project it is to collect the recycled products and bring back to the chain as a feedstock and produce new goods.
