Funderbeam CEO Kaidi Ruusalepp will speak at our EU-Startups Summit on May 2-3 in Barcelona

On May 2-3, we’re going to host the EU-Startups Summit in Barcelona. It will be the 6th edition of our annual flagship event – and with up to 1,200 startup founders and investors from across Europe also our biggest one so far!

Today we’re excited to announce our very first speaker for next year’s event. It is Funderbeam founder and CEO Kaidi Ruusalepp!

Founded in 2013, Funderbeam is building the global startup stock-exchange – a blockchain-based funding and trading platform for high-growth private companies. The fast-growing company is headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia, has raised a total of $10.5 million in funding and already employs an international team of about 50 people.

Kaidi was named ‘Entrepreneur of a Year’ in 2018 by the Playmakers Technology Award and as a ‘Person of a Year’ in 2016 by the Estonian IT and Telecommunication Association. Also, Kaidi is a former CEO of Nasdaq Tallinn Stock Exchange, the co-author of the #Foundership Playbook, and mentor of various great girls/women in tech initiatives.

Funderbeam has ambitious goals, as the company wants to change the startup funding landscape globally by adding more transparency and liquidity into private funding. The funding and trading platform not only enables startups to raise funding through Funderbeam, but also it enables investors to cash out on their own terms as Funderbeam is also building a secondary market for startup shares.

At the EU-Startups Summit, Kaidi will give a talk about her entrepreneurial journey with Funderbeam, her learnings and her future plans for the platform.

If we already sparked your interest for the upcoming EU-Startups Summit, make sure to secure your ticket now!

As in the previous years, we’ll showcase a selection of Europe’s hottest startups (incl. a big pitch competition) and come together to learn from some of the most successful European entrepreneurs of our time. You can expect huge list of exciting speakers, many high-profile investors, great networking opportunities and much more.

That being said, it would be awesome to meet you at the 2019 edition of the EU-Startups Summit on May 2-3 in Barcelona. More info can be found here (page will be updated on a weekly basis) and in the video below!
