The stage is set, anticipation is building, and the future of European tech innovation is about to take centre stage! The leading pan-European competition for digital deep tech scaleups “EIT Digital Champions” returns for another year to support innovators and entrepreneurs in becoming the next European success stories.
This initiative is a platform to showcase some of the brightest tech scaleups. It identifies and celebrates the very best European digital technology scaleups looking for venture capital financing at the EU level and beyond. Winners will be rewarded with free access to the 12-month EIT Digital Growth Services Program.

How It Works:
- Application: The application period runs from November 30th to January 30th.
- Finalists: EIT Digital will shortlist up to 50 companies to participate as finalists in this competition. They will have the opportunity to pitch to a jury of high-profile investors.
- Champions: From the finalists, selected winners will be granted free access to the 12-month EIT Digital Growth Services Program. They will also be invited to attend VivaTech 2024 in Paris and an associated VIP investor dinner event hosted by EIT Digital.
Who is it for?:
Scaleups: Fast-growing European ‘deep tech’ companies with differentiated product offerings that leverage sophisticated, hard-to-reproduce digital technologies. These companies must meet the following specific criteria:
- Possession of a scalable product.
- Company incorporation after 01/01/2014.
- An annual revenue of €500K or funds raised exceeding €2 million.
- Headquarters in the EU or one of the Horizon Europe-associated countries.
EIT Digital Champions and the Growth Services Program share a commitment to foster and support scaleups led by women in CXO roles, emphasizing diversity and inclusion in the tech sector.
