EIT Digital Challenge 2022: A highlight for the European deep tech ecosystem

On October 27 EIT Digital will host a star-studded affair in the European deeptech calendar, one that is helping push forward the frontiers of deep tech innovation. The EIT Digital Challenge will culminate with an exclusive day of pitching, networking and a VIP dinner featuring the handpicked scaleup finalists and an eye-catching attendee list.

On the lookout to support Europe’s most promising and exciting innovators and startups, the EIT Digital Challenge 2022 is Europe’s leading deeptech competition. The pan-European initiative, running annually since 2014, aims to identify future European deeptech success stories, helping them to scale internationally and impact lasting change for generations to come. 

Over the years, the competition has attracted thousands of applications from all across Europe, with many of the winning scaleups going on to become international deeptech leaders. This year, the event is taking an even more premium touch reflecting both the calibre of the event and the quality of innovation.

The lowdown

On October 27th, the 20 selected finalists will be invited to an exclusive day of pitching, networking and a VIP investors dinner. The event has an eye-catching attendee lineup with some of the biggest names in the deeptech investment space and corporate world on the exclusive guest list.

It’s an unparalleled chance for these change-making scaleups to pitch their ideas in front of the experts, get quality feedback via face-to-face meetings with the people who can help drive their mission forward.

The five winning scaleups will receive a waived entry into the 12-month Accelerator Programme, worth a value of €50k. This programme consists of dedicated services in international Access to Finance and Business Development by the EIT Digital Accelerator Team.

The exclusive guestlist 

This year’s event really stands out for the attendee list – reflecting the biggest and brightest corporates and investors from all across the deeptech world. Among the confirmed attendees are investors from 468 Capital, Capricorn Partners, FoolFarm, IQ Capital, Orange Ventures and Redstone.
