Compete, Win, Raise & Scale with EIT Digital Challenge!

Now in its tenth year, the EIT Digital Challenge aims to find the best deep tech entrepreneurs that Europe has to offer, help them scale internationally and bolster the European deep tech ecosystem. This year, 20 finalists will be invited to an exclusive final event with up to 10 lucky winners gaining entry to the EIT Digital Accelerator Programme.

Europe’s deep tech sector is heating up. Thanks to support from bodies like EIT Digital, it’s one exciting sector, bursting with promising innovations and startups developing cutting-edge tech. However, despite the exciting rate of innovation, many of these companies struggle to scale and compete on a global level. They lack hands-on support and guidance to reach the next level – and that’s where EIT Digital comes in.

EIT Digital has now launched the 10th edition of its flagship challenge: The EIT Digital Challenge. Every year, this challenge has provided a platform for disruptive companies to showcase their innovations and reach global success. Past winners include Jentis, Covision Quality and Vottun and past attending investors include Redstone, Capricorn and IQ Capital. With the support of EIT Digital, previous Accelerator programme participants have gone on to raise €900 million. Now, you could be one of them.

Diva Tommei, Chief Innovation and Education Officer of EIT Digital: “The EIT Digital Challenge is a fantastic opportunity for European deep tech start-ups to gain access to the resources and support they need to reach their full potential. We will select up to twenty finalists and invite them to participate in a pitch competition that will take place in Brussels in June, alongside the Grow Digital conference.”

Likewise, Marta Garcia of Multiverse Computing, a winner in 2022 says, “I would definitely recommend for [scaleups] to apply for this challenge as it is a great opportunity to have the back up of the EIT”

This year, a record number of startups will be crowned champions, earning free access to the IT Digital Accelerator Programme worth €50k What’s more, this year the challenge is connected to the Grow Digital Annual Conference – an unmissable chance to network with key players from VCs to Corporates to Academics and Policymakers.
