Funding details
The €1.6 million funding round was led by 4Founders Capital. Lanai Partners, Roma Ventures, Kimia Group and business angels such as Carlos Blanco, Oriol Juncosa and Enrique Linares also participated.
The funding will be used to push forward the company’s ambitious growth plans, consolidating its presence in key markets of Spain and Mexico before further growth into the rest of Europe.
Marek Fodor, partner at 4Founders Capital: “In a context where attracting and managing talent is of vital importance for companies, Viterbit democratizes access to high-end tools with a high degree of personalization, thus allowing companies to be more efficient in hiring processes. We are delighted to be able to participate and accompany Dimitri, Marcos and Ariel in this promising project, which we hope will soon become a benchmark in the HR market”.
Multi-channel platform
Founded in 2021 by Dimitri Nicolau (CEO), Ariel Gutiérrez (CRO) and Marcos Gómez (CTO), Viterbit is a startup with a plan to help companies centralize and optimize selection processes, by digitally enhancing the HR tool kit.
The Madrid-based startup has developed a multi-channel recruitment platform that provides users with 360 management oversight as well as an automated candidate validation system to find the best digital profiles. It’s AI-based and works as an end-to-end recruitment solution – helping to improve the selection process for candidates and businesses alike.
Dimitri Nicolau, CEO of Viterbit: “It’s a well-known fact that great companies achieve success when they align talent management with their objectives. No matter the TAM, the business model or how innovative the idea is, in the end everything revolves around people.”
Currently, the startup counts Grupo VASS, Admiral Seguros, Scalpers, Grupo Sesé, Impress and IriusRisk as early customers, with plans to keep growing and enter new markets driven forward by this new funding.
Dimitri Nicolau: “This round of financing not only validates the need that exists in the market for high-end HR applications, it’s also a push to scale our business and enable companies, for the first time, to operate with the flexibility, connectivity, and tools that work best for their business, rather than forcing a single approach to all your HR operations. HR teams need more effective processes and integrated systems to proactively help transform their organization.”
