ProSiebenSat.1 Accelerator enters the 2nd round

The 2nd round of ProSiebenSat.1’s startup program is about to start soon. Startups are invited to submit their application for the ProSiebenSat.1 Accelerator until July 15th and qualify for the autumn program, which will start on September 1st.

Participating startups will undergo a structured, individualized coaching and mentoring program. In addition, each startup receives a seed funding of € 25,000, office space at ProSiebenSat.1’s headquarters in Munich/Unterfoehring and access to the media company’s infrastructure. In return, ProSiebenSat.1 receives a 5% equity stake in each company. Furthermore, one of the companies participating in the ProSiebenSat.1 Accelerator will receive a “wild card” giving them the chance to present their business idea at the SevenVentures Pitch Day at NOAH Conference in London, where TV advertising time worth € 7 million will be awarded.

The ProSiebenSat.1 Accelerator statet that it is looking for innovative founders with disruptive ideas in the fields of entertainment, digital media or e-commerce – or in any other sector in which a business unit of ProSiebenSat.1 Group possesses in-depth expertise and knowledge of the market. The purpose of the program is to foster the further development of innovative ideas, assist the startup companies with expertise, and successfully position their products in the market.

The companies participating in the first round of the P7S1 Accelerator, which started on April 1st, 2013, are currently preparing for their final presentations and pitches to internal board members and external investors. The startups of this 1st round (ampido, DreamaTV, get2play, Talentry, moosify and Tickethelden) have already pitched their business ideas to more than 75 European investors at ProSiebenSat.1’s “Investors Day” in early June.
