Endomondo, a Danish startup and creator of a famous sports app, has recently raised $800,000 of funding. The new capital comes from the Danish venture fund SEED Capital. With Endomondo you can keep track of your sports activities and challenge and follow your friends live while they are working out. According to Mette Lykke, the co-founder of this Copenhagen based company, Endomondo already has users in about 200 countries. Right now the application is available on seven mobile platforms (RIM, iOS, Android, Symbian, Windows Mobile, Java, Windows Phone). The sporty startup was founded at the end of 2007.
