On April 20-21 we’ll be hosting our annual EU-Startups Summit in Barcelona! The event will gather over 2,000 founders, startup enthusiasts and investors for two exciting days of networking, inspiration and learning.
Aside of a buzzling exhibition hall, a dedicated networking app and a networking area, we’ll also have two stages where you’ll be able to learn from 70+ speakers, and listen to educational and inspiring talks by internationally successful founders.
Today, we’re excited to announce another speaker highlight: The refurbed Co-founder & CEO Kilian Kaminski will join us in Barcelona on April 20-21!
Kilian Kaminski is one of the three founders of refurbed, the fastest growing online marketplace for refurbished products in the entire DACH region. Due to its international expansion, the startup is now already operating in 8 European countries. refurbed is headquartered in Vienna and founded in 2017. The fast-growing startup was already able to raise about €70 million in venture capital.
Before founding refurbed, Kilian Kaminski was Head of the Amazon Certified Refurbished Program and New Key Account Manager for the largest electronics retailers at Amazon Germany. He studied communications and business administration in Hamburg, Shanghai, and London. In 2019, he was selected to the Forbes “30 under 30 Europe” list together with co-founder Peter Windischhofer. In 2020, Kilian Kaminski was also awarded with “Capital Top 40 under 40”. Furthermore, Kilian Kaminski is a member of a consortium of experts on the European Union’s circular economy.
Kilian is certainly an exceptional entrepreneur and we’re very excited to hear his insights! He will join us for a keynote on our main stage to talk about the refurbed growth story and how it was enabled by a purpose/impact driven company culture.
