Connecting entrepreneurs and investors, Oslo Innovation Week 100 Pitches has launched and now’s the time to apply. Powered by DNB, the aim is to find innovative business solutions that are helping to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Think your startup is a good fit? You should join!

Oslo Innovation Week invites startups to the heart of Nordic innovation providing an arena for facilitating actions and thought-provoking ideas for bold and new innovation. The annual event focuses on sustainability, providing a place to highlight solutions to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

The Process

Oslo Innovation Week 2022 will be taking place in a hybrid format, with the grand final of the pitches taking place in September. This year, applications are being accepted via CrowdWorks – the firm that connects companies with minds and capital from startup communities, mentors, corporates, and investors.

To apply, participants will provide pitch videos for the jury and investors via CrowdWorks, by submitting a 3-minute video pitch. The deadline to do this is July 25th. Then, these videos will be evaluated and shortlisted. The top pitches will be made available on the Oslo Innovation Week website, which will then be subject to a preliminary evaluation by the first jury. At this point, the pitchers will be narrowed down to the top 8 companies!

To decide the winner of Oslo Innovation Week 100 Pitches, the final 8 will be invited to present in front of the final jury in Oslo on September 29th, with the winner announced the same day.

The Pitches events during Oslo Innovation Week will take place in tandem with talks between founders and investors, entrepreneurs and experts with final interviews taking place with a carefully curated jury. This format means that there is more time to understand and investigate the business ideas.

The jury this year is Andreas Helbig from Atomico, Lauga Oskarsdottir from Firda, Ieva Sibilla Strupule from Material Mapper, Bjarne Lie from Verdane, and another surprise jury member
