Our speaker lineup is bringing you the A-List of figures in the European startup ecosystem. Next up, we’re delighted to announce that Morphais Founder and CEO Eva-Valérie Gfrerer will be joining us! Giving us an insightful keynote on how technology will help VCs solve the industry’s diversity problem, it’s a talk we can’t wait to listen to.
Founded in 2020, Morphais is a Quant Venture Capital firm based in Berlin that is investing in exceptional founders, independent of their background. It’s no secret that the VC space has a diversity problem – both within VC firms themselves, and in the selection of founders that they back. It’s been reported that only 11% of VC representatives and only 10% of founders are female. Further, <1% of global AUM is managed by women or people of colour.
Morphais was launched by Eva to put the focus on the founder – not their background – to build world-class companies. A behavioural scientist and entrepreneur at heart, Eva is fascinated by the possibilities of predicting human behaviour with data. Prior to founding Morphais she led Growth Marketing at the FinTech OptioPay, after consulting for various tech start-ups on behavioural data products and starting her own company while still at university.
Eva’s keynote speech is sure to be a highlight of the event and will offer many valuable and actionable insights for all.
