Ready for take-off: Sign up to the FutureTravel Newsletter now to stay up-to-date on travel innovation and travel startups!

After the whole travel and hospitality sector ground to a halt during 2020 and still continues to face big challenges in 2021, the future, at first glance, could appear to be bleak. But like all crises, with great hardship there can also be found great opportunity, a chance for re-imagination and re-birth. In the case of travel, we believe that industry and its many innovators will use this challenging time as an opportunity to reinvent their business and to adopt innovation faster than before.

That being said, we’re super excited about the future of travel as we are already witnessing the travel industry going through this period of powerful change! Startups working on no-contact accommodation check-ins, the rise of short- to medium- term property lets and rentals, the growing acceptance of remote work anywhere in the world, are just a few recent examples of trends we’re seeing.

To keep you up-to-date about exciting changes, innovation and travel startups, the EU-Startups team is today officially launching FutureTravel. Starting with a weekly newsletter about travel industry trends, travel startups and inovation, FutureTravel will soon also publish reports, and eventually host an annual FutureTravel event to re-connect the travel industry and its innovators.

Since we share a common excitement about travel innovation and about the future of travel, EU-Startups is also happy to announce TravelPerk as the official launch partner of FutureTravel! TravelPerk is the next-generation business travel platform pioneering the future of business travel. TravelPerk’s all-in-one platform gives travellers the freedom they want whilst providing companies with the control they need. The result is saved time, money, and hassle for everyone.

TravelPerk is also the sponsor of FutureTravel’s first report, which will be published on Thursday of this week. The report will be available for free for all FutureTravel subscribers and will introduce you to the 30 most exciting travel industry events that are happening in the 2nd half of this year.

If you are a traveltech enthusiast, travel & hospitality is your professional sphere, or you would just like to know what future developments are coming for the business of travel, then sign up for the weekly FutureTravel Newsletter now!
