On the 28th-30th of April, we’re hosting the 7th edition of the EU-Startups Summit – this year as an online event. Today we are excited to announce a new speaker James Burrows, CEO & co-founder of Rentals United, who will join us to discuss “Leveraging partnerships to build a multi-million euro SaaS business”.
Rentals United started in 2015 when the founders of competing vacation rental agencies got together to find an efficient solution to automatic inventory distribution. The answer was an intuitive platform that stores property information and automatically updates it across multiple listings sites. Around 6 years later, their cloud-based technology handles tons of data every day connected to 60+ listing sites, as well as 100+ technology providers. It has already convinced trusted partners including leading vacation rental sites, OTAs, travel metasearch engines, wholesalers, Property Management Systems and Tech Service Providers. To give you an idea of their size – they have 150K properties connected worldwide today, had 1 million reservations processed for clients in 2019, and 3 million nights booked via Rentals United in 2019.
At the EU-Startups Summit, James will join us to share his experience of growing Rentals United into a company of 100+ employees, and give us some insights behind the scenes of a market that has quickly digitalised since the pandemic began.
