Founded in 2019, Blaine offers a monthly subscription service of artificial flower bouquets for businesses and businesses. Its aim is to democratize the use of flowers in any type of business, from small to large multinationals. Starting at €25/month, it’s possible to have bouquets of flowers in your business for less than one euro per day.
After 1 year, the company is growing fast, the team has won over around a hundred customers in more than thirty different sectors, such as hospitality, wellness and beauty, offices, among others. One of the reasons the business has grown so fast is the ability to have a bouquet during a trial week, and then decide if you want the subscription.
In this traditional industry, Blaine is mixing things up, offering a choice of 300 bouquets, rotating bouquets each month to different companies. The bouquets mimic natural flowers, and are made of recycled plastics and fabrics. This helps companies to achieve sustainability and promotes a circular economy approach.
“This first round of funding will allow us to accelerate and strengthen our expansion in the Spanish territory and increase the pace of growth for monthly subscriptions. In addition, it will allow us to continue improving customer experience, which is one of the main pillars of the company”, explained Oscar Gallego, CEO and co-founder of Blaine Box (translated from elreferente).
Blaine’s future will also be focused on expanding into other European countries such as Italy and Germany, where there is a strong culture of flower bouquets in professional settings.
