The finalists for TechCrunch Italy’s ‘Startup Competition’ have been announced!

The names of the 8 finalists of TechCrunch Italy’s Startup Competition, who will compete to win the final total prize of €50K, have been announced today (Update – April 2023: The startup seems to be no longer in business under this website, and we therefore deactivated the original link).

At the end of September these pre-selected finalists will move to Rome, where they will pitch at the Startup Competition stage, engage in a round of Q&A, and be judged by a team of top level venture capitalists and angel investors.

Without further ado, here are the names of the recently selected startups:

  • Aenduo
  • Bauzaar
  • Bemyeye
  • Fluentify.com
  • GiPStech
  • Pathflow
  • Sportboom
  • Vivocha

The Startup Competition only accepts applications from startups that have been running for less than 24 months, and have received no more than 2 million in funding.

The competition is part of TechCrunch Italy, a one day conference and startup showcase, held on 27 September in the spectacular venue of The Globe Theatre, in Villa Borghese. It will gather some of the most recognized leaders and innovators of the technology and media industries in Italy, Europe and the US.

With support from Mind The Bridge Foundation and co-organized with Populis, one of Europe’s leading digital media groups (Update – April 2023: The website seems to be out of use, and we therefore deactivated the original link), this conference brings some of the best experts together to talk about the big changes and trends happening in the world right now, as well how to leverage them to foster innovation and the creation of global companies from Italy.
