Startup accelerator Wayra opens a new call for applications

Wayra, the startup accelerator run by Telefónica, today announced the opening of a new call for applications, which will run from today until 21 January.

Entrepreneurs around the world are invited to submit their projects, which if successful, are provided with financing (in exchange for a 10% share), access to Telefónica resources (including management and technical expertise), and a place to work.

Wayra academies in Barcelona, Bogota, Buenos Aires, Dublin, London, Madrid, Munich, Prague, Santiago and Sao Paulo are now open for applications with the new Prague Academy acting as a hub to attract digital talent from across Eastern Europe.
