British fashion startup StylistPick nabs $8 million Series A round

StylistPick, a London-based entertainment-led fashion buying website, recently secured $8 million in a financing round (Update – December 2022: The startup seems to be no longer in business and we therefore deactivated the link).

This young British fashion startup was founded in 2010 by Felix Leuscher, StylistPick’s current CEO. The new company is aiming to bring personalization and curation to fashion e-commerce. So how does it work? Stylist Pick members receive a personalised offer each month, and every product on the site retails for £39.95 (shipping included). To make sure that the offers really fit to each member, new users are asked to take a short quiz to identify their fashion profile.

The Series A round was led by venture capital funds Index Ventures and Accel Partners. According to recent press reports, the fresh capital will be used for the startup’s expansion, both geographically and categorically, and to increase the marketing and sales efforts of StylistPick.
