The London-based fashion startup Stylistpick has today announced that it just closed a Series B round of funding totalling $11 million (Update – February 2023: The startup seems to be no longer in business under this website and we therefore deactivated the link).
The young company was founded in 2010 by current CEO Felix Leuscher, and aims to bring personalization and curation to fashion eCommerce. StylistPick members receive a personalised offer each month, and every product on the site retails for £39.95 (shipping included). To make sure that the offers really fit each member, new users are asked to take a short quiz to identify their fashion profile.
In April 2011, Stylistpick secured $8 million in a financing round with Index Ventures and Accel Partners. In late 2011, the promising startup signed an exclusive deal with Cheryl Cole, a famous British singer, who designs her own collections for Stylistpick.
According to Stylistpick’s founder and CEO, Felix Leuschner, the funding will be used to fund expansion into Europe, as well as finding a bigger office space in London. Davor Hebel of Fidelity Growth Partners will also now join existing investors Accel Partners and Index Ventures on the board of Stylistpick.
