Responsibilities Include
Identifying the Product portfolio to be launched in the UK market; contracting of suppliers; specifying the conditions for procurement and ensuring the listing of products in relevant sales channels; being the main point of contact amongst the relevant parties.
- To be the first point of contact for ebebek’s goods and services providers in the UK, and maintaining those relationships
- Helping create and implement the pricing strategy for ebebek UK including private label branded product positioning and finding the sweet spot for all listed products.
- Topline management of UK stock flow and seasonal storage.
- On-site support of ebebek UK growth operations and taking an active role in achieving this.
- Monitoring of supply chain operations within the UK(3PL) together with the Overseas Supply Chain Team in Turkey; keeping track of stock and sales reports, following up and working to achieve more efficiency and cost-effectiveness in the supply chain.
- Supporting the import processes of products to be sold in the UK.
- Checking the regulatory compliance processes so ebebek Turkey’s products can be sold in the UK, listing and keeping track of testing requirements.
- Working with ebebek Turkey to ensure that product images, content, price, campaign price, and stock information are sent to sales channels correctly, and checked regularly
- Work with marketing to ensure the product portfolio and brand interests and marketing initiatives are represented
- Searching for new UK sales channels in line with our growth strategy.
- Providing the required support to ebebek Turkey team on further UK requirements - physical store, office, or additional warehouse in the UK.
About You
- You have a successful proven track record as a Merchandising Manager
- You have strong internal and external management skills and the ability to build relationships with ease
- You are a self-starter, proactive, positive, and driven individual
- You are competent to manage a diverse set of job requirements with a small startup / kickoff team
- Skilled in handling many assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- You’re commercially astute and a confident decision maker, you make informed decisions
- You work well with change, being able to quickly adapt and work with pace
