Sys Ops Engineer

We are currently looking for a brilliant Sys Ops Engineer to join our Madrid-based FinTech team.

The role

You’ll be part of a small, highly focused product development team working on a product available in 32 European countries. You’ll be working closely with the CTO to ensure our LAMP systems run securely and smoothly. Infrastructure design, data management, disaster planning & recovery is your bread and butter.

Core skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Sys Ops.
• Linux Security & network administration.
• Infrastructure design & management.
• Monitoring of web applications and security vulnerabilities.
• Virtualisation/KVM/VM/Cloud - general systems architecture.
• Working ability with English.

Desirable skills

• Storage configuration (SAN, NAS)
• Management of SSL certificates, passwords, access policies and user management.
• Working knowledge of server replication, redundancy, failover and backup.
• Database/MySQL administration (replication, master-slave architectures).
• Load balancing and performance tuning.
