Your tasks:
- Planning and Development of:
- Large-scale data-driven web applications and APIs (REST)
- Crawlers and parsers for websites to extract information
- JavaScript-based tracking system for content analytics
- Database layouts for high-performance databases like MongoDB
- Evaluation and integration of external libraries (e.g. text processing)
- Continous learning and evaluation of new technologies
- Coding with cleanlyness and quality in mind
Your profile:
- 3+ years experience working with PHP, Python, JavaScript
- Data Science knowledge or at least keen to learn
- Data Engineering/Data Warehouse Management experience
- Adaptable to different working styles and using different technologies
- Solide knowledge of OOP, Clean Code and Design Patterns
- Basics skills in SQL und NoSQL DB (e.g. Mongo DB)
- Experience with event-based applications (Beanstalk/SQS)
- Good knowledge of version control with Git & Github
- Can help the team with code reviews and work flow structure
- Very good knowledge of English, German language skills desirable
