We are developing the next generation of veterinary practices from the ground up while leveraging technology - all built in-house, so that we can innovate and improve continuously the processes for the veterinary team, pet, and client experience.
In midterm, we envision a future where we can leverage our proprietary tech & data. To do so, we're looking for a (Senior) Full-Stack Engineer (m / f / d) to join our team and start building the tech stack with us.
Your responsibilities :
- You will work with, preferably, Node.js - but we are open to suggestions from candidates
- You will work on our Front End with tools such as React and React Native
- You will build and create our software independently : customer mobile app, telehealth platform and microservices for the practice team
- You will integrate and connect third party tools, such as practice management software and communication software, to our proprietary software
- You take ownership over what you build and have no fear of doing more than just sitting behind the code
Your profile :
- A minimum of 3-4 years of experience and / or an outstanding portfolio and educational background
- You love to work independently on projects and have the required knowledge to do so
- You have experience in building sustainable, maintainable, and extensible software & mobile apps
- You have a track-record in writing clean, readable code and unit tests (examples of works such as a portfolio on GitHub is a strong plus)
- You like to step out of the box and don't mind to not follow instructions at every step of the way
- You have experience integrating complex third party APIs
- You experienced team-collaborations on large-scale projects
- You have worked in a corporate environment and Startups are an area of your expertise
- You have a positive attitude, a good sense of humor, and you love fun at work
