At Castle, we're on a mission to protect online users against hackers and bots. Our vision is to be the easiest and most developer-friendly way of adding user account security processes to your platform. Using our APIs, companies can track user interactions to figure out when accounts have been compromised, as well as giving their users the ability to recover their accounts eg. by sending out an email notification or text message.
We are looking for an engineer to join our Infrastructure team and work with our current cloud setup. We work closely with engineering to make our setup more efficient and robust. Below you can find our basic expectations and information on our tools and stack.

You will

    • Plan, test, and develop infrastructure-centric applications and tooling (good to know some of the programming)
    • Design, build and maintain our core infrastructure used by all of our engineering teams
    • Ensure we can continue to ship new applications and services efficiently, by providing a great developer experience for our engineering team with CI, CD, and automated service provisioning
    • Build out our infrastructure to handle multipliers of the current traffic
    • Improve our fault tolerance, auto-scaling, automated recovery and monitoring
    • Debug production issues across services and all levels of the stack
    • Design future features
    • Provide after-hours support on a rotational "on-call" basis and to work "off-hours" as needed
    • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, is required
