A new payments solutions provider who has been rapidly growing over the past year are searching for a Senior Application Solution Architect to join their team. The company is owned and backed by a large bank however operates separately with a start up culture. This means it is structured so you are sat right near the CTO and can bring in exciting new tech with limited red tape. To date much tech has been created collaboratively with external vendors, however they are now looking to bring this work in house with a number of hires. You will be the sole architect at the firm and will create the architectural blueprint across every software solution, engaging in solution delivery from end to end.
Requirements:
- Application architecture experience
- Financial services experience
- Payments, merchant platform, or fintech background is preferred
- Good understanding of software engineering (Preferably originally from a dev background)
- Can demonstrate you are a technologist at heart
- Knowledge of latest exciting tech so you can utilise knowledge to bring new tech that adds value on-board
- Work heavily on architecture not just design
- Cloud experience - preferably Azure
- Big data/Data warehousing experience
- Services and system integration experience
- Understanding of RFP and vendor selection processes
