As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you’ll be working in the technical department to promote our company's products and IT solutions to the Customers. You will be trained on different Vendor’s technologies in order to be certified and ready to support our customers

After the first enablement, you’ll be supporting the internal staff and then delivering customized demos and presentations, conducting official training on assigned Vendors, do post-sales activities when requested and providing technical advice and support for customers. You’ll be also participating in technology fairs and events.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Be certified and maintain different Vendor’s Security and Datacenter technologies
  • Providing technical knowledge and expertise internally and externally
  • Manage Customer support cases by using our Ticketing system
  • Supporting the business teams in the development, construction of offers to the clients and answer to different technical questions on your defined Products
  • You will be trained in different Vendor technologies in order to deliver official Training and Workshops for our customers
  • Creation of PoC (proof of concepts) within the real customer's environment with the different technical solutions of Arrow
  • Provide post-sales / start-up activities on the assigned Vendor’s solutions for our Customers
  • Customer visits by Vendor competence
  • Continuously being trained in the latest technologies

What We Are Looking For:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the IT sector
  • Education: Technical IT High school or Degree in Computer Science
  • Excellent networking and Operating System skills, a consistent plus will be knowledge and active certifications on some of our cybersecurity technologies in our Portfolio ( Trendmicro – Riverbed – Sophos – Paessler – Fireeye )
  • Negotiating skills as well as strong communication skills
  • Strong customer orientation with a sense of innovation and technology
  • Cloud Technology knowledge is a plus for us ( MS/Azure – AWS )
  • A real and innate passion to learn new technologies, a strong attitude for new and different challenges, be the best in what you learn.
  • Ability to identify and resolve partners issues with excelling at prioritization of the workload
  • Fluent Italian and English business language fluent
  • Regional Travelling and EMEA events are not a problem for you
  • Infrastructure, storage, servers, must be part of the knowledge
  • Ability to cooperate and to work within the team
