Logistics talent wanted for a challenge in recycling!
Deposit The Netherlands is looking for a 32-40 hours
To further shape and expand the organization in the Netherlands, Statiegeld Nederland is currently looking for an operational manager.
We are looking for someone with a start-up mentality, a doer and a thinker.
The new operations manager acts as a sparring partner for the general manager; and at the same time delivers results within deadlines and budget based on predetermined KPIs.
A self-managing person who wants to work closely together, takes matters off your hands and follows up on agreements and executes them according to plan.
An experienced relationship manager who can interact at a senior level with various stakeholders and parties.
The operational manager ensures that the daily operation of the deposit system continues to run smoothly and is in continuous consultation with the general manager and the rest of the organization.
He is also the point of contact for external parties such as logistics service providers, transport companies, external counting centers and recyclers.
What do we ask of you:
- You have a no-nonsense mentality, energy and you have an affinity with recycling
- You have at least a completed HBO education, for example in logistics or supply chain
- You are communicative, strong in organizing, collaborating, monitoring and addressing.
- You are a team player and you have a view of the bigger picture.
- You have experience in building an organization in which everyone takes responsibility.
Who are we :
- More than 600 million large and 900 million small deposit bottles are sold on the Dutch market every year.
- We, Statiegeld Nederland, are the implementing organization for deposits on plastic bottles and within a few months that will also apply to cans.
- We strive for more recycled bottles and fewer bottles in nature.
- Our goal is to take back 90% of these plastic bottles and cans and thus contribute to a cleaner Netherlands.
