Mechatronics Engineer Textile (m/f)

MINDSET
We are looking for a full time mechatronics process engineer as part of our wearable development and production team who is able to design the manufacturing process and tools for future wearable production lines. You should be a communicative and structured person and have the process and engineering know how from the basic idea to high volume manufacturing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Process Engineering

» Optimize production processes and components for innovative electronic integrated textile products
» Continuous improvement of our inhouse and external production and its equipment, tools and machinery
» Design and build assembly lines for prototype and automated mass production
» Ensure quality and ergonomics in cost efficient manufacturing processes

Product Development

» You will bring the textile manufacturing perspective into the development team
» Integration of electronic components into textiles and design of electronic and mechanic interfaces

BASIC QUALIFICATION

Degree, work experience or equivalent skill set that touches some of these fields:
» You are an expert in textile manufacturing technologies, materials and design
» You have good knowledge about process automation from electrical and pneumatic drive engineering to SPS programming
» You have CAD skills with Solidworks, Rhino, Creo or similar
» You know about mechanical tooling and manufacturing processes
» You have quality management skills (Poka Yoke, FMEA) and know about lean production principles
» Business fluent in English, German a nice to have
