Description
Our LiDAR sensor already achieves world class 3D point cloud accuracy – but what if we could improve accuracy by a factor of 20 using the same hardware? We believe it’s possible - with a clever setup of mechanical, electrical and optical components, the right algorithm and deeply embedded signal processing. Join our team of engineers and prove that you are able to push the boundaries of what is possible!
Your Tasks
• Build a prototype for the “optical feedback” proof-of-concept
• Collect relevant data and develop a suitable algorithm in Python or C++
• Embed your algorithm in FPGA (VHDL) and/or ARM CPU (C/C++)
• Develop new ideas and algorithms of how your data could be applied throughout the system
Your Profile
• You have experience with embedded hardware and you are not afraid to work with electronic components
• You enjoy working on interdisciplinary topics
• Skills in C/C++ and Python
• First experience with FPGA and VHDL • Ideally, you have first experience with (embedded) Linux
