We are redesigning the future of digital at Hilti and are looking for new team members to play an integral part in our digital transformation journey. As a Lead Frontend Developer, you will work in a global, multicultural, collaborative, fun, and agile work environment; you will be responsible for leading the frontend development team members.

What does the role involve?
As a Lead Frontend Developer, you serve as a team expert in frontend implementation; emphasis on Java programming, clean code principles, and testing culture; including, diagnosing problems, getting around limitations, and creating efficiency and optimization to do things that will drive the platform’s capabilities. Actively participate in product feature and design discussions to help shape products, in addition to providing guidance to the frontend development team.
The Digital Platform team, at our two locations in Boulogne-Billancourt, France and Texas, USA, consists of 130+ team members in 11+ scrum teams working with the newest technologies to create a unique user experience for Hilti’s extraordinary products and services.

What you need is:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of eight years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in:
- API development, distributed, service-oriented, event-driven architectures
- Spring, Play Framework, Angular 2+
- DynamoDB, Redis, SQL, Elasticsearch, Kinesis
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to influence and motivate team members
- Good communications skills in English.
