Builtrix is one of the most creative Portuguese start-ups in implementing cloud-based technologies for building management systems. We offer Utility Monitoring, Analytics and Benchmarking solutions to reduce the costs, increase the operational efficiency and provide comfort in commercial buildings.
We are based in the Lisbon, Portugal and looking for an inspired and motivated professionals to be part of our technical team to improve and extend our leading, cloud-based and IoT platform for data management.
Working closely with our CTO/Lead developer, you will be required to assist the development of our server on different platforms (Java, Python, etc.) with a high capability of working with AWS cloud platform. Priority given to an experienced full-stack developers who are familiar with application development for different platforms (Web-based, Android and IoS applications).
This is a full-time contract position with possibility of a permanent/Senior position dependent on performance. We are basing our development team at the LACS (Lisbon) where you will have permanent desk space. We are looking for can-do attitudes, a passion to learn/grow independently and willingness to delve into problems.
Requirements:
- Degree in computer science and demonstrable deep passion for web technologies
- Experience of 2-3 years in similar positions
- Fluent English language
- In-depth knowledge of software development, Server, Network, and Hosting Environment
- Familiar with Data Modeling and Business Logic
- API layer / Action Layer / MVC
- User Interface
- User Experience
- Good understanding of Web business and technology in general
- Desire for deeply understanding client’s business.
- Good team player, however also be able to work independently.
