Menlo Media, the company behind the media & event brands EU-Startups and FutureTravel, is currently looking for a sales-oriented Event Manager to join our team.
As Event Manager at Menlo Media, you’ll play a crucial role in both sales and event management, primarily focusing on our flagship event, the EU-Startups Summit, which will gather 2,500 attendees on April 24-25, 2025, in Malta.
In this role you'll be working closely with our Events & Partnerships Director, our CEO, and with other team members on tasks that are focused on Sponsorship Sales, updating our Sales CRM, Event Management, Lead Generation initatives, Ticket Sales/Marketing initiatives and to other event-related tasks. As part of this role (full-time, 40h per week) you will be with us in the office on 4 or 5 days per week.
We're looking for a motivated Event Manager who is interested in startups, events, and media, has very good English skills, and lives in Barcelona (or elsewhere in Spain, open to relocate to Barcelona). Ideally, you also have design skills (Canva, Photoshop, etc.), prior experience in sales/marketing, and some experience in event organisation.
