As an EMVI writer, you help our Water Infrastructure and Water, Climate and Landscape market groups win tenders.
Together with the tender team, you understand the customer demand, you come up with a creative approach and you write a good, SMART and easy to read plan.
You help the tender team by analyzing, asking sharp questions and taking accurate minutes. In brainstorms, you quickly absorb input, even if you do not know the field in detail.
When developing the EMVI plan, you are a true artist who translates technical input into one compelling story.
With your plans of approach, we win great assignments for the central government, Rijkswaterstaat, provinces and water boards, among others.
But foreign tenders are also up for grabs. You write for tenders in all kinds of fields within the water sector.
You therefore work in a team with approximately 350 colleagues from our water-related market groups. Think of projects for a dyke improvement project, a waterway improvement, the development of a nature reserve, improving the water quality in an area, the expansion of a sewage treatment plant or the construction of a water storage area.
This allows you to influence all water facets in society and you contribute to our mission Improving the Quality of Life'.

In the morning you process improvements in an MEAT plan. There is one more chapter empty; an interview with two specialists is scheduled for this at 09:00.
They know well how to approach this project. Exactly the information you need. Afterwards you drink a cup of coffee.
Back behind the laptop, you structure the information and write the last chapter. Great, you can send that later for the review.
In the afternoon you will start on a new tender at 13:00. In the Tender Startup you plan brainstorms, interviews and reviews with the tender manager.
So, the agenda will be well filled again in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, your Outlook pops up: tender WON! It was a tough tender so an extra nice result.
- The rest of the afternoon you brainstorm with the tender team about the approach for the new assignment. Two creative ideas fit well with the request;
you note that down. Satisfied, you close the laptop to go home. You are analytical and a creative writer.
You know how to convert complex, technical content into understandable texts. You can keep up several balls at the same time, you are stress-resistant and a go-getter.
We are also looking for a new colleague with:
- A completed HBO or WO education in Journalism, Dutch or a water-related education;
- Minimum of five years of experience writing quotations;
- Demonstrable high win score on the quotes you contributed to;
- Affinity or experience with water projects is a plus.
