    Deputy General Manager

    for a medium sized Romanian company, a leading player in innovative Automation Solutions for HVAC sector.

    The main role of the Deputy General Manager, reporting to the Owner / General Manager, is to plan, direct and coordinate the activity of a ~40 people organization along with the General Manager.

    Main job responsibilities include developing technical and investment projects, day-to-day operations management, and efficient management of material, technical, human and financial resources.

    The Deputy General Manager has the role of coordinating the sales and operations (design and production of electric and automation panels and comissioning), ensuring the leadership, organization and functioning of the company with maximum efficiency by participating in development strategies, identifying opportunities, having full P&L responsibility. He / She will coordinate the activity of department managers and will have the objective of keeping the growth trend of minimum 10% per year and conserving the profitability (>10%) of the existing business lines while developing new ones either through product / solution diversification or through entering new markets.


    Candidates Profile:

    The Executive we are looking should have minimum 10 years of experience with a minimum of 3 years in a leading position of an HVAC and / or Automation maintenance, industrial or construction company with, preferably, technical and commercial background - a high affinity in HVAC automation or Electrical, Mechanics or Automation and a strong track record in project business (design and build).

    To fit the organizational culture, we look for someone proactive and having a “can do” approach, entrepreneurship, good planning and organizational skills and a strong focus on continuous improvement (a strong supporter of Lean Management).

    Because of its exposure to external partners (local and international, partners and clients), the job holder should be someone with strong leadership skills honed through experience with senior management; a person who demonstrates courage to address difficult topics with employees and partners and is a strong networker inside and outside the organization, comfortable with national and international exposure and adaptability to changing workloads in crisis situations. Fluency in English is a prerequisite.
