La figura ricercata
We are searching for a BI Specialist (and data integrator), specialized in business intelligence and reporting, analyzing our data sources, and integrating different solutions. Our company is growing rapidly, and BI is becoming more and more a strategic area. This person will be part of an international team within the IT department and reporting to the IT Director.
Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Analyze business needs and requirements, in the BI area.
- Analyze, visualize, and present data in a clear and concise manner.
- Performance-tune these applications, as necessary.
- Suggest improvements and modern technical solutions.
- Identify organizational and process improvement opportunities, including technical changes in the reporting area.
- Analise and investigate issues, proposing solutions related to data quality or consistency.
- Develop queries and procedures in SQL.
- Make sure that reports are delivered accurately and on time.
- Analise and develop solutions for data integration among different company applications.
Il candidato prescelto
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Knowledge of BI tools (especially Reporting services and Power BI);
- Experience within the BI and DataWarehouse area, collecting stakeholders' requirements;
- Ability to analyze complex information from multiple data sources, presenting clear and concise reports;
- Ability to research and learn new technological solutions that can possibly enhance our information system and existing processes;
- Understanding of data and process related tools and domains (ERP, CRM, data mining, reporting, automated workflows, etc.);
- Deep understanding of databases and SQL language;
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft solutions, especially Power Platform tools and Excel;
- Knowledge of CRM Dynamics is a plus;
- Good interpersonal and communication capabilities; open, positive, and collaborative approach;
- Ability to build relationships with different types of employees and across all levels of the organization;
- Ability to communicate fluently and effectively in English (spoken and written);
- Strong technological background (Computer Science and IT Systems);
