About the role

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for the design and development of the back-end services of the application.

Your team will be a group of passionate, highly-motivated engineers who firmly believe that great products can change the world and have all the technical skills to make that happen.

You will:

  • Work closely with your team alongside CTO and Product Owner
  • Develop and design the back-end of the application
  • Build Lambdas deployed on AWS
  • Join designing and implementing functionalities consuming GraphQL API
  • Help us continually improve our engineering practices and automation ( CI / CD )
  • Have an impact on decisions around tooling and practices
  • Take part in implementing business logic related to GHG Protocol

Our expectations:

  • 4+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer
  • Good knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript
  • Ability to make design decisions that result in correct, scalable, reliable, and performant systems
  • Experience with Scrum / Agile environment
  • Be open and willing to learn from mistakes
  • Fluent English
  • Experience with Lambda AWS would be a plus
  • If you occasionally switch to frontend, this would be ideal
