ORB is a hardware-enabled sports analytics company, utilising a SaaS business model. With our mission to improve both player safety and team performance, we have created the ORB Smartguard. It tracks fitness, fatigue and effort of the contact sports players and presents this information live to coaches - giving them a real-time overview of both players’ health and performance. It eliminates the need to wear anything extra and comes at a lower price than GPS kits. The unique placing of the device allows us to collect the data currently unavailable, shedding new light on concussion within sport; which we aim to achieve through our partnerships with leading research universities.
