Heydesk was founded by Marcel Fuursted or at least he started building the platform already back in 2016. In 2018 he found 2 people to become partners. Like most startups, it takes more than 1 person to lift the task.
Heydesk received a minor investment, which covered the bills for 2018 – no salarys given. 2019 is running on bootstrapping.
The business idea was an airbnb for workspaces – with focus on homes and private offices that had an extra desk to spare. But since the coworking business has been taking off like it has, we changed our strategy to focus more on the coworking spaces.
People can book a day pass, week pass or month pass to all the venues listed with us. We add a small service fee on top of the price to make ends meet.
We are looking for funding to really kick of our marketing and sales.
There is an app in development, and a CRM system for venues to use to keep track of bookings, ratings, checkins, payments etc.
