EMC Gems S.r.l. is a deep-tech newco specializing in research and development in the field of electromagnetics and digital twins. In addition, the company produces and sales innovative sensors and devices (proximity, position, force, torque, and level sensors, power electronic devices) used for environmental and structural monitoring systems and predictive maintenance in the industrial, automotive and appliance sectors.

Concerning our software, the key advantage is that electromagnetic simulation is performed 3000x faster than market leaders, so simulation becomes an enabling technology for spreading the digital twin models into mass consumer markets. Concerning digital twins, they are enabled by new sensors (patent pending) and machine learning methods, where the physical-driven models are trained by simulations.

Our main competitors in the digital twins and simulation markets are SIEMENS, ANSYS, COMSOL, Altair. The simulation time is orders of magnitude higher than our solution. Moreover, we propose vertical simulation tools, specialized and customized for each product family, that are faster and easier to use. Concerning the sensors for digital twins, state-of-the-art solutions use vibration sensors (accelerometers, sound and ultrasound sensors), which are expensive, inaccurate for slow revolutions per minute (rpm) applications and data-driven. Our method is physically-driven (i.e. quantitative), cheap and works down to 0 rpm.
