In your new role you will :

  • Plan, control and execute development projects for new IGBT and diode products across various Infineon sites from Munich to USA and Malaysia
  • Form, guide and motivate cross functional project teams
  • You create energy and commitment by explaining and providing opportunities for your team members
  • You take on full project manager responsibilities including the overall project planning, development target alignments, resources, budget as well as professional risk management
  • Act as overall project manage r including the role as project owner of subordinate projects
  • Maintain the overview and understanding of technical inter dependencies in order to proactively identify the most complex problems
  • Consult and act as interface to internal and external customers (e.g. Application Engineering, R&D, Project Management, Sales and other departments)
  • Align cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have :

  • A degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering or a similar field , preferable a PhD
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the semiconductor power electronic industry, thereof 3 years as a project leader
  • The ability to understand and structure complex project situations ; manage crisis situations , consolidate and present those to senior management level
  • A solid technical understanding of power electronic device physics , chip development and semiconductor processing for Si or Si C materials
  • A proactive mindset with strong communication and moderation skills to align between internal and external stakeholders

Excellent English and German skills in order to interact successfully with cross-functional teams globally
