At this exclusive in-person event in Malta we’ll be showcasing many of Europe’s hottest startups and coming together to learn from some of the most successful European entrepreneurs of our time. This esteemed competition will provide 15 of Europe’s most promising early-stage startups the opportunity to pitch on the main stage in front of a large audience of investors and startup enthusiasts, besides the chance to win this year’s grand prize worth over €120K!
Eligibility Criteria
- Startups in pre-seed or seed stage
- Less than 3 years old, with no or less than €750K venture capital raised
- Based in Europe (EU, UK, Norway, Switzerland, etc.)
The Jury
The selected teams will receive valuable feedback from a jury of well-known venture capital investors. The jury members will be announced by the end of January. Aside from the VC jury, we will have about 330 other investors (including VCs, accelerators, and business angels) participating in this year’s EU-Startups Summit. Many of them will follow the pitch competition, and you can actively network with them during the event.

After applying via this link, we will carefully sift through all of the applications and hand-pick the inalists who will join us on the main stage at this year’s EU-Startups Summit on May 9-10 in Malta, where they will pitch for 3 minutes in front of our jury and a huge audience of investors, media, and startup enthusiasts.
By the way: If on stage or not, startups attending this year’s EU-Startups Summit will have a lot of opportunities to pitch in-person to investors. We’ll also have a dedicated networking app which will enable you to schedule meetings already 2 weeks prior to the event. Tickets are available here.
